A paradise full of chic and luxury displays
Villa Wildflower is a 10-minute drive from the island’s delightful capital “Gustavia”, named after the Swedish King Gustav III – because the Swedes ruled the island from 1784 to 1877. Gustavia is the Caribbean’s chicest capital.
You’ll find luxury French designer boutiques like Dior & Hermes, jewellery brands like Cartier & Bulgari and several art galleries. There are also lots of lovely small local boutiques offering the finest shoes, eyewear, clothes and much more. And all surrounded by restaurants, many local, some with ‘twins’ in St. Tropez.
As in France, many of the shops are closed for a long lunch (2-3 hours), but they do stay open until 20.00.
